THOMPSON Peacefully at Crosshouse Hospital on 29 July, Elizabeth (Betty) Thompson, dear aunt of the family. Funeral service will take place at 12 noon on Friday 4 August at Greenock crematorium to which all are respectfully invited.

Thinking of Betty fondly in California and condolences to her family . She was my godmother and so many fond memories of her when I was growing up and receiving cards and notes from her over the years when I moved away from Largs . She was also one of my mother's(Rosina Harris ) good friends and her bridesmaid, and will be sadly missed . SANDRA KEIR(nee HARRIS) and family Alastair, Alex and Sarah .

Thinking of Betty in Australia. She and My mum, Isobel Sharp (Tyre) were friends since the age of 10 or 11 and always kept in touch despite the miles. My brothers and I also have very fond memories of her from our childhood. She will be missed and remembered into the future.
