The Largs and District Crossroads AGM is taking place on Wednesday 12 December at 7.30pm at St Columba’s Parish Church, Nelson Street, Largs.

Margaret Thomson
A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2pm at Greenock Crematorium in memory of Largs woman Margaret Thomson. She is survived by children Albert, Joe, and William and was a gran and great-gran. The family were saddened to hear of the news this week and have requested family flowers only at the funeral.
St Mary’s Xmas Fayre
St Mary’s Primary School Parent Council are hosting a Christmas Fayre on Saturday at the Clark Memorial Hall from 10am-12 noon.

Largs Badminton Club
The Largs Badminton Club has enjoyed a successful turnout during recent months. Play continues over the next two Thursdays. All welcome. Courts are booked at Inverclyde Sports Centre from 7.30-9.30pm.
Round Table V Rotary
Local groups the Largs Round Table and Largs Rotary played off against each other in a friendly snooker encounter at Potters bar on Tuesday night. It is the second year running the event has taken place.
Largs Thistle 200 Club
Largs ‘News’ reporter and Thistle club committee man Calum Corral was delighted to hear this week that he had scooped the top prize of £1000 in this month’s draw. Calum kindly donated some of his winnings back to the club.
