Ready or not? Rangers have come calling for Largs footballing ace Euan Lindsay.

Rangers are bidding to snap up a Largs wonderkid who looks set to make his big breakthrough at the highest level in football - but he simply can’t make up his mind.

Last week, the Glasgow giants attempted to lure Largs Academy pupil Euan Lindsay, 15, of Blythswood Crescent, away from his current club Hamilton Accies just as he prepares to make a breakthrough into first team football.

After being singled out by Ibrox talent scouts following a series of impressive performances for Accies’ youth sides, it looks like the Scotland Under-15 striker will be staying put - for now.

However, Euan’s proud mum Donna told the ‘News’ that, despite national press stories stating otherwise, a final decision had yet to be made, leaving the teenager agonising over his future.

For rest of story, read this week's Largs and Millport News.

Donna Lindsay speaks about her son's progress in an audio interview which will appear on Thursday morning...

well to be honest i dont see why every one is so wow about it! i mean i went to primary school with him and he has been a celtic supporter all his life so it would be very hypocritical if he was to join the club!

ok he is a good football player but if he were to join the club i think it would be hypocritical.

that's just my opinion.
