New Garrison plan open to islanders

Comment Bubble Comments (0) Printer Print Article

Millport residents will receive the opportunity to have a say in the future of the Garrison with a new development about to be launched.

The Garrison re-opened in March and was the centre of the Gala Queen celebrations on Sunday (see full picture spread in this week's Largs and Millport Weekly News).

Now, those behind the two-year restoration project have turned their attentions to further improvements with a development plan top of their list of priorities.

Development Manager Kathryn Howell said: "We are going to facilitate some focus groups with key members in the community to discuss the draft ideas and get community feedback - hopefully this will be happening over the next month."

Find out about future plans for The Garrison in this week's Largs and Millport News.
