Scottish Water make Largs waste appeal
Scottish Water is appealing to its customers in the Largs area to dispose of their domestic waste and fat, oil and grease more carefully.
A recent survey established that there is a significant problem with the amount of sanitary waste being flushed down toilets and fat, oil and grease being poured down sinks.
Scottish Water also say that disposing of items in this way has led to problems at their treatment works and pumping station in Largs.
