Largs brick assault victim gets payout

A TEENAGER who scarred another youth for life in a brick attack has been ordered to pay him £1500 compensation.
Jamie Roberts, 16, admitted striking 17-year-old Jamie McDade on the head to his severe injury and permanent disfigurement in an argument at the Fluid bar in Gallowgate, Largs, Ayrshire, in July 2007.
Roberts, described as a fisherman, of Royal Avenue, Largs, was also given 240 hours community service for the attack in the seafront bar last summer.
