Anger at double roadwork hell

Comment Bubble Comments (0) Printer Print Article

Local drivers are bracing themselves for more long waits on the A78 trunk road with the Haylie Brae set to close on Monday October 20 for five days.

However, a council spokeswoman stated that there will be MINIMUM disruption when the Haylie Brae closure begins but local drivers beg to differ given recent experiences.

There was strong anger expressed to the ‘News’ about the lack of co-ordination concerning the two road networks south of Largs being completely congested when the Largs to Kilbirnie road is closed.
