Following their return from Northern Ireland, Ardrossan Minis took part in the annual Glasgow Hillhead/Jordanhill tournament. All teams enjoyed the day, especially the Primary 7 team who beat both Kilmarnock and Whitecraigs. They then went on to reach the semi-finals where they put up a great fight against GHK, the eventual tournament winners.

Calcutta Cup comes to Ardrossan!

The club is hosting its own mini rugby tournament on Sunday May 11 at Memorial Field, with the Calcutta Cup as the guest of honour. Five teams are taking part including Helensburgh, Birkmyre, Irvine and Garnock. The event will run from 12 till 4, with the cup in attendance from 12 till 2.

There will be a barbecue and a raffle, the star prizes being a round of golf/hospitality at the K Club in Ireland (venue of the 2006 Ryder Cup) and a family ticket to the Harlem Globetrotters at Braehead Arena. Tickets will be on sale on the day and also at the clubhouse during opening hours. Everyone is very welcome to come along the tournament. Entry £1 on the gate.
