Growing reputation of Halkshill seniors

This week’s piece of bowling news is of the Largs Halkshill BC Senior Section opening day, held on the morning of April 30th
In front of the madding crowd and suitably “booted and suited” is Section President Bill Jackson and immediately to his right is Club Vice President Bill Hamill. Bill Hamill was guest of honour in the absence of the Club President, for the opening.
Following the game, those that wished, enjoyed a light lunch of soup, sausage rolls and sandwiches, which was both welcome and very good.
Winners of the highest up rink prize was that of C.Hill, A.McMillan, A.MacPherson and J.Crawford.
It must be said that under the guidance of Section President Bill Jackson, the Section has, over the last few years, gone from strength to strength. Thanks Bill, keep it going.
