Largs Thistle skipper Neil Shearer has left the Barrfields Club in a shock move this week.

Shearer was subbed against Hulford United in the Ardagh Cup quarter finals and was actually going to quit that evening but further talks continued over the subsequent weeks but he watched the game from the sidelines against Kilwinning on Saturday.
