Nardini ice cream is no secret

DAVID Equi, one of the partners in the new Nardini restoration went on BBC Scotland on Tuesday to vow that the cafe would open in a blaze of glory in June. He denied a claim by Aldo Nardini - a family friend - that the original ice cream recipe was locked in a vault.

“I have it on my computer” said Mr Equi who told BBC that he was the ‘champion of champions’ ice cream award winner “and it will return to its ancestral home this summer.”
