The 23rd successive season of Largs Players Summer Comedy Theatre comes to and end this Thursday and Friday, August 11 and 12.

There has been no lack of laughs over the past four weeks of the plays which have featured a murder mystery comedy, five 10 minute sketches and now an enthralling one-act play.

A new play by Ardrossan professional performer and writer, Johnny McKnight, directed by talented young director Ruairidh Forde with a top class cast of Pat Nicol, Jordin Revel, Allan Milligan, Euan Barker and Louise Garrett was introduced to acclaim last week.

'The Adventures of See Through Sam' will join the collection of five short plays which make up the first half of the night at the Brisbane Centre in Bath Street.

Some of the teenage talent from the recent sell-out shows, West Side Story and Caledonia USA, will be showcased on the little stage by the promenade. Robbie Quinn, Megan McEleny, Rhona Macintosh, Genna Allan, Craig Douglas feature along with veteran troupers Drew Cochrane, Jon Wilkin, and George Whitestone, with Linda and Gordon McMurray, and Drew as directors.

The shows run on Thursday and Friday evenings until August 12 with doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start; all tickets bought at the door on a first come basis. For information phone 01475 675599 or 0795 2929317.
