Largs Players have appointed their youngest ever producer for their pantomime, 'Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs.'

However, at only 22, Ruairidh Forde comes with a great pedigree, having already been involved in producing such recent memorable Players shows as 'Caledonia USA' and 'The Full Monty' and, in fact, he has been writing and directing pantos since he was at school.

The Greenock trainee teacher has written an hilarious Snow White script which will be the basis of the show taking place at Barrfields Theatre from December 8-10. Not only that, but he will be starring in another production, Chaos At Christmas, the festive show at the Harbour Arts Centre, Irvine as part of the successful McDougalls cast.

Ruairidh has a talented cast in Rebecca Kane as Snow White, Matt Wilkin as The Prince, Matt Carnegie as Hamish, Pat Nicol as the Wicked Queen, Jon Wilkin as The Mirror and, in a twist, experienced female actress Jackie Templeton will be the Dame. There should also be fun when two sets of dwarfs are selected....watch this space.

Tickets have gone on sale on www.ticketsource.co.uk/Largs Players or on the hotline of 0333 666 3366 with special family tickets (two adults, two children) at £35. Adult tickets are only £12, children £8 and concessions £10 making it one of the most economical pantos in the land.

As an added bonus there are actually two Saturday matinees...at 1.30pm and 6.30pm to suit folk from Cumbrae and afar!
