Artie’s Tartan Tales will take place on Saturday 22 October at 11am in the Seamill Hydro Hotel and Resort. This event is being organised to raise much needed funds for the West Kilbride Christmas Lights and is kindly sponsored by the Seamill Hydro Hotel.
The Singing Kettle’s creator and former star, Artie Trezise, is back with his exciting storytelling production, Tartan Tales.
Traditional stories and songs with a Scottish accent. He weaves Singing Kettle favourites with classic material. “The Train to Glasgow” to “Three Little Pigs”, delivered in a unique, charming, engaging style.
Action-packed, enthralling and interactive. The kids are involved throughout and become story tellers themselves by the end of the show. Lots of joining-in and singing for children and adults alike.
He honed his skills on a national young people’s literary campaign, “The Big Read”, and has gone on to perform hundreds of shows in festivals and theatres throughout the country.
He was awarded the MBE for services to children’s entertainment, his BBC TV shows won a BAFTA and he is a member of the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame.
“Artie has proved he's still got the magic touch. With his Tartan Tales he can keep an audience of children enthralled with stories, songs and lots of laughs”. Daily Record
