Local theatre group Pint Size Productions is celebrating its fifth anniversary this year.

The group was founded by Laura Edison in 2011 and has gone on to produce fantastic adults only comedy shows at Lounge, the Newton Bar in Millport and in Greenock year after year.

This year writer Laura created Wee Senga and Big Bev, better known as The Scrubbers, and portrayed by Laura and emerging stand up comedian Natalie Sweeney.

After a sell out show in the summer, The Scrubbers return with a Christmas special filled with more hilarious banter and parody songs.

The girls have such a following that two of the dates sold out months in advance, with very limited tickets remaining. The dates are Fri 2 Dec (sold out) and Saturday 3 Dec at 7pm and 9pm (with less than 15 tickets remaining).

Laura is a familiar face with the Largs Players pantomimes, but this year is turning her hand to a very adult panto, by writing and producing Peter Pan with a cast of popular local faces including Pat Nicol and Miles Schofield. Tickets are very limited for the dates which are Friday 20 January at 7pm and 9pm, and Saturday 21 January at 7pm and 9pm.

Tickets for both productions are £10 and can be booked by calling Lounge 01475 689 968 or visiting ticketsource.co.uk/pintsize. Tickets for The Scrubbers in Millport are £12 and include a party night with prosecco and canapes, and can be booked by calling the Newton Bar 01475 530920, or online.
