Explore Largs BID brings you Largs Food Festival 2017, with 40 stalls showcasing the very best of Scottish food and drink, cookery demonstrations, seminars, tastings, live music, children’s entertainment, face painting and magic. It’s a bundle of Bank Holiday fun for the whole family, all set in a huge marquee on the town’s famous prom.

It all takes place on Bank Holiday weekend on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 May, 11am-6pm.

You’ll enjoy free presentations and demonstrations from expert chefs, have the chance to sample all manner of exquisite artisan and organic products from Ayrshire and beyond.

Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, piscatarian or someone who just loves to sink their teeth into a tasty steak, it’s all there for you. From fantastic fruit and veg, fresh fish and meat to sweet treats and celebration cakes.

And, with May being Scotland’s ‘Whisky Month’, there’s an array of specialist whisky suppliers with accompanying seminars and tastings. Then there’s the latest designer gin products, cocktails, beers and more.

Suppliers of gluten free products will also be taking part.

Children have free admission to the event with every paying adult. Look out for free face painting, magic and professional children’s shows, and a chance to sample many of the child friendly foods.

Take a relaxing break at one of the events cafés or the on-site pub and enjoy the festivals free live music, or wander around the town between seminars and shows, sampling the very best of shopping, dining and drinking.

Admission is just £4 for adults and children go free. There is something for every taste and every budget, from a vast array of free sampling to exquisite whiskies, gins, and liqueurs.
