Largs Live 2017 is back, bigger and better than ever, with weekend of music and entertainment for the whole family from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 June.

And this year, for the first time, the Explore Largs BID, the organiser of the event, is delighted to announce that Scotland’s favourite pint, Tennent’s Lager, is sponsoring Largs Live 2017.

The sponsorship will help to ensure that Largs is rocking across the weekend, when thousands of music lovers visit this iconic West Coast tourist town to see over 100 free gigs.

BID Manager John Hamilton explained, “This is great news. The sponsorship will go towards helping to fund the Largs Live product; that is, the free live music gigs which attract so many people here during Largs Live.”

Paul Condron, Marketing Director at Tennent Caledonian Breweries, added, “Tennent’s Lager has created and supported some of Scotland’s best live music events in the last 30 years and this partnership with Largs Live is another great example of this.”

He added: “We are pleased to sponsor this popular festival, and are looking forward to working with bars and venues in the town to help make Largs Live a huge success again this year.”

There will literally be something for everyone with a diverse and eclectic mix of music from rock and pop to street opera and pipe bands. There’ll be live street entertainment and children will have their own free shows and free face painting too.

Final bookings are currently being added to the calendar of events and will be listed in full on www.largslive.com. You can also follow the music festival on Twitter @LargsLive and on Facebook at LargsLive
