This Friday, stars from the famous pop band 5ive are performing live at Fiddlers.

The Largs night spot is under new management is looking to make a big name for itself by attracting some top acts.

So far, George Bowie has taken to the decks; the UK and Europe Club night sensation that is 'I Am A Raver' was here in November, last week Jemma Lucy (Celebrity Big Brother, Ex on the Beach, MTV) provided a guest appearance and DJ set.

Venue manager Alison Mailey said: "It's great to be back in my home town; hopefully the locals, and those from further afield, will see what we are trying to do.

"We have weekly club nights, every Friday and Saturday with our resident DJs And on top of that we are putting on big events right on your own doorstep. Largs is a special place, and it deserves the nightlife to reflect that.

"We couldn't be more excited about having 5ive come to Fiddlers, and we we're looking forward to 2018, where we will continue to keep the big events coming"
