An international touring production are coming to the Beacon to provide a new show for kids on Friday April 20.
'Four Go Wild in Wellies' is described as a playful look at how friendships are built, broken and mended, and the joy of inventiveness and curiosity as play emerges from interaction with each other and with the world around, including particularly the natural world.
The show is specifically aimed at children aged 3-5 years and has been created with the company by director Anna Newell, composer David Goodall and choreographer Stevie Prickett, who have worked together for more than 20 years creating work for younger audiences that has toured as far afield as South Africa and off Broadway.
The company is quickly growing a reputation for innovative and high quality touring productions with its four dancers - Hayley Earlam, Emma Smith, Neil Price and Adam Sloan. Independence 4 has worked with some of the UK’s leading choreographers and musicians.
