A sell-out crowd packed the compact surroundings of The Victoria Hotel for an intimate gig starring 1960s legends The Animals and Spencer Davis.
The sound of the swinging sixties came alive in blistering style in the seafront surroundings of Largs on Sunday evening.
Members of the legendary Animals group teamed up with iconic rocker Spencer Davis for an electric set including smash hits "We've gotta get out of this place" and "Don't let me be misunderstood".
After milling about with the audience, Welsh wizard Davis also performed some of his greatest hits including "Keep on Running" and "Somebody Help Me" while Animals keyboardist Mick Gallagher captured the mood with a truly memorable version of their signature song "House of the Rising Sun" Such was the success of the intimate gig, The Animals and Spencer Davis are intending to return to Largs seafront in the near future.
