I live in Innes Park Road in Skelmorlie and wish to express my disgust at the amount of dog poo there is in this one road. Yet again this morning some 'kind' person let their dog foul the whole length of the pavement right outside my home.

This happened in the ten minutes I was out of the house. When I returned I had to manoeuvre a buggy and 2 year old child past the muck, then use five buckets of water and bleach to clean it. This is by no means the first time I have had to do this.

When will people learn how disgusting and dangerous this filthy habit they have is? It is sheer laziness not to clean up after their dogs. I have two small children and am fed up of having to clean their shoes, watch where they walk, and live in fear they will actually fall face first into the dirt.

Do selfish dog owners not realise this can cause blindness in children? Do they also not realise most people know who the worst offenders are? Please start having some consideration for others. Either clean up after your dog, which will enable people to walk along pavements safely and without fear of stepping in something, or do us all a favour and give your dogs away to a family who will look after them properly. Innes Park Road is in a terrible state and it's time people worked together to resolve this issue. Name and shame the filthy dog owners!
