A Largs man has called on local MP Katy Clark to finally give residents of flood-endangered Noddsdale Meadow 'peace of mind'.
Back in May, the 'News' reported on Mr Andy Sugden's fears that proposals for 80 further houses - made under North Ayrshire Council's Local Development Plan - might mean further exacerbating an enduring problem.
However, he told MP for Ayrshire and Arran, Katy Clark: "What I seek is the full peace of mind for all those with properties in the development.
"All those parties involved - developers, councils, SEPA and the technical advisers - totally indemnify all households from all forms of flooding and fund all that is necessary to preserve the state of the assets."
