Lest we forget.
Remembrance Sunday commemorated the fallen from world wars, and more recent conflicts, during torrential rain, and gusts on Sunday morning.
The traditional parade took place down Largs Main Street at 10.30am involving the Royal British Legion, Boys Brigade, Girls Brigade, 4th and 5th Largs Guides, and our emergency services.
A Remembrance service took place at Clark Memorial Church, conducted by minister David Watson, who also led the short service at the laying of the wreathes at the Largs War Memorial.
Members of Largs Police, fire brigade, coastguard, and RNLI were in attendance, and there were also representatives from the Royal Air Force Association.
Former Prisoner of War Jack Ransom, aged 95, was in attendance, on behalf of the Royal British Legion, as was John Hutchinson, and his guide dog Cora, who laid a wreath at the ceremony.
Chairman of Largs Community Council Douglas Blair also laid a wreath, as well as other community groups in the town.
Spokesman for the Royal British Legion in Largs, Stuart Rumble said: "As Parade Commander and on behalf of the branch I would like to thank everyone who took part in the Remembrance Parade. Despite the adverse weather young and old stood proud together."
They shall grow not old
As we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them
Nor the years corrupt
At the going down of the sun
And in the morning
We shall remember them.
