Attic Players in Skelmorlie are preparing for their latest production 'The Ladykillers' by Graham Linehams, author of the TV series Father Ted, this weekend.
The play is adapted from the 1955 Ealing Studios black comedy film with a star cast including Alec Guinness, Herbert Lom and Peter Sellars.
Their own star cast will tell the story of a gang of criminal misfits posing as amateur musicians who rent a room from sweet little old lady Mrs. Wilberforce.
From there they mastermind a daring bank heist in nearby Kings Cross.
When Mrs. Wilberforce realises that the quintet are not all they seem, the gang decide to despatch her before she can talk.
With only one faithful old friend to defend her Mrs. Wilberforce must outwit the five desperate men. But who will face the music?
Find out and join in the fun at Skelmorlie Community Centre on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 November. Doors open 7pm.
Tickets costing £9 including the first drink, are available from ticketsource.co.uk/atticplayers, Bon Bon Café and Bluestone Largs, J B Spence Wemyss Bay, the Spar and The Medical Hall Skelmorlie.
Hurry, get your ticket now before they disappear.
