Teams are sought from organisations or individuals to take part in Largs Town Twinning Association’s quiz night next month. The event will be held in the Brisbane House Hotel, Greenock Road, Largs on Friday 11 March at 7.30pm.
Teams of 4 – 6 people are invited to take part in what promises to be a fun evening with May Renwick of West Kilbride setting the questions and being the question organiser for the night. Cost is £8 per person which includes a light buffet supper.The evening is being run to raise funds to send a team to the Town Twinning Games in Nussloch, Germany, in May.
The Association’s 2015 raffle prizes were won as follows – 1st prize of accommodation in Tenerife for one week was won by a Port Glasgow resident, second prize of Glasgow Wine School £50 voucher came to Largs while third and fourth prizes ended up in Irvine and Troon. Thank you to all who supported the raffle and to Association members who worked hard to raise nearly £1,000. These funds will also help finance the Largs team in the Town Twinning Games in Germany.
