It is petal power at the Largs & District Horticultural Society who are holding their annual plant sale and workshop on Wednesday 11 May.
Green-fingered experts will be displaying their best plants at St John’s TocH Hall, Bath Street, Largs at 7.30pm.
There will be hands-on demonstrations, hints and tips on propagating and growing on and a question and answer session when we will attempt to answer any questions you may have.
There will also be a sale of plants grown by our members. It is an open meeting – you do not have to be a member to attend and there is no entry fee.
The advance schedules for hobbies & crafts, baking, decorative and junior are available now at the Library, the main show schedule will be available from June.
And a reminder - Largs Flower Show 175th anniversary is being held on Saturday 20 August in Dunn Memorial Hall, St John’s Church.
They are having a special historical display.
