Largs seafront had an extra special visitor today as a massive cruise liner passed in front of Cumbrae.
Resident Jack Boyle submitted this super picture of the giant ship as it made its way down thto channel, unusually on the Largs side.
It is the Cruise Ship Zuidedam, and Jack said that it sounded its horn before passing the Cumbrae-Largs MV Loch Shira which was dwarved in comparison.
The spectacular ship is now heading to Portree, Skye, and is heading around to other destinations in the British Isles before heading to Scandinavia.
