North Ayrshire arts and culture chief, Dr Audrey Sutton, will speak at the annual general meeting of Barrfields' Users Group (BUG) at Vikingar! on Monday, May 30 at 7pm.
NAC director, Dr Sutton will answer questions about the consultants report into the future of Vikingar! and Barrfields Pavilion Theatre.
BUG, which represents the theatre groups, have been asking for the contents of the public consultation, carried out in 2014, to be revealed.
Local councillor Alan Hill, depute leader of NAC, and 'portfolio holder' for arts and culture, will also attend the BUG agm which will be chaired by Mr Ryan Moir. Councillor Tom Marshall, a director of KA Leisure Trust who operate Vikingar! is also expected to speak at the meeting.
Former editor Drew Cochrane, secretary of BUG, said: "We are delighted that these key figures will come to Largs on Monday when members of my own club, Largs Players, and Largs Operatic Society, Variations choral group and Largs Youth Theatre can attend the agm and ask questions."
