Mindless vandals have caused thousands of pounds worth of damage at Barrfields football ground in Largs.
Long standing committee man Pat Rall, 70, said: "What a mess - it breaks your heart. The wheelie bin was at the side of the dugout - and there is nothing left of the bin. The damage is ridiculous. It sickens you. This is the second time it has happened, and you feel you are fighting a losing battle when this sort of thing happens."
Largs Fire Brigade were called to Barrfields at 3.30am on Sunday to reports of a fire at the football ground.
Officer Peter Bowyer said: "It would appear to be a bunch of arsonists who carried out the damage in various areas of the town. When we got to Barrfields, the fire was going well."
If you can help identify the culprits of Saturday evening's fire, contact Largs Police on 101.
