The Kelburn Garden Party music festival this weekend will be hosting a Pride Parade on Saturday afternoon.

A special party celebration will be happening at the new Secret Boat stage between 4-5pm, and then at 5pm, there will be a parade through the glen and around the festival.

The Kelburn Pride facebook page states: "The parade will be musically accompanied by members of the Beltane Beastie Drummers, Colonel Mustard and the Dijon 5, and anyone else who wants to sing, shout, crash, bang, holler and generally make some noise for the cause of sexual freedom and social tolerance.

"It’s Pride time! Get your glad rags on and join us for a celebration of all things queer and quirky!"

"In the world full of hate and prejudice it is hard to be different. But to make a difference we have to be different. Each one of us is perfect in their own unique way. Each one of us can help to change the world even if it is a small change.

"Let us all gather and celebrate our differences- to create a joyful parade for all. It is not a protest - It's a celebration!"
