Teenagers from the Largs and Fairlie, and surrounding areas, have been making waves at the worldwide skiff championships.
Congratulations go to the under 17s who showed silver service in rowing in Northern Ireland this week.
Members of the Firth of Clyde Coastal Rowing Club, based at Largs, were among the silver medallists in the 'Skiffie Worlds' held in the waters of County Down.
It was a marvellous opening day on Sunday for the 'FOCCRs' with their Mixed Open B and improvised Women's 60's+ team reaching the top five of each of their heats, and reaching their respective finals.
The men's over 40s also impressed and made it to their final too. The overall St Ayles skiff event at Strangford Lough continues until Saturday.
Skiffieworlds is a colourful and friendly celebration of coastal rowing - the St Ayles class has spread very quickly with 130 boats across the world, and numbers growing all the time.
