P5 and P6/5 had a great time last week at their visit to the Tall Ships and the Riverside Museum. Pupils were able to explore the Tall Ship and ?nd out about the ship’s history. Pupils also took part in a Titanic themed workshop. This supported both classes in their study of the Titanic.

P6 pupils had a equally good time at Amazonia, as part of their study of the Rain Forest. They were able to handle different species of snakes and pupils were shown tropical rainforest animals, including a tarantula. Pupils visited a nocturnal room which was kept dark during the day, so that they could view some of the animals which roam about at night.

Computer technology has always been a popular subject for pupils.

We are in the process of choosing digital leaders to act as mentors during lessons and to help look after equipment. They will also try out and review new resources.
