The final phase of a programme to improve the A78 through Largs is underway and continues until 6am on Monday.

Scotland TranServ, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will carry out the works to renew over 400 metres of road surface through Largs Main Street.

With over 4,500 vehicles passing through the town centre each day, a full road closure will be in operation between Bath Street and Gogo Street, to ensure the safety of both operatives and road users.
