Boys Brigade
All sections of the Millport Boys Brigade had a special day on Sunday 2 October. The Anchor, Junior and Senior sections attended a dedication service in the DA Hall. After the service, the boys then had a quick change out of their uniforms and had packed lunches in the hall. On a beautiful sunny day all the boys and their officers and some parent helpers set off to walk around the island to do a sponsored walk. The Anchors all walked to the wishing well, the Juniors to White Bay, and the company section continued and walked round the island. The total amount raised will be published later but the boys would like to thank the parents and friends who joined them, the support drivers, and everyone who sponsored them. They also say a big thank you to everyone who continues to support the 1st Millport Boys Brigade. Any donations are still welcome for the effort and can be given to any of the boys or their officers to hand in.
