There is food for thought for chocolate lovers who will be heading along to Fairlie Bowling Club on Friday.
Fairlie Fairtrade Initiative are hosting a chocolate tasting event with Jean Wilson, Chocolatier from The Lime Tree Larder in Kilbirnie.
Sweet toothed 'chocaholics' can enjoy some fairtrade imports from as far as Madagascar, Raise Trade, as well as some bars from Divine Chocolate Limited.
Entry is by ticket only - £5, available from Helen on 568280 or Gabrielle 568112.
The chocolate tasting fundraiser takes place from 7-9pm.
Fairlie has a long standing tradition of promoting fairtrade after becoming Scotland's First Fairtrade Village in March 2005, with fairtrade food being used by a number of local work places and community organisations.
