The Classics at Castle Semple Car Show returns on Sunday 23 October from 11am until 3pm following last year’s incredibly popular show which attracted many enthusiasts.  The event is hosted by organiser Jane Fawcett at the stunning loch side location of Castle Semple Country Park in Lochwinnoch Renfrewshire and this will be its 6th year in the Regional Park.

Jane Fawcett said: “Last year was absolutely out of this world! The response I had from the viewing public was truly wonderful. I think the fact that the sun shone just showed everyone’s cars off beautifully.  All that chrome gleaming, polish glinting, no steamy windows for people to peer through and everyone grinning from ear to ear. My original idea was to have a one off show a few years ago but all my friends and car club buddies encouraged me to keep it going and with their assistance, I have.

Last year, we had all the old favourites of Ford, Morris, MGs, Jags, Triumphs alongside the incredible Model T Ford Hotrods, Pontiacs, Maserati, Lincoln and fire trucks and even classic motorcycles for the first time. However my stars of the show were a stunning 50 year old Transit and a Ferguson tractor driven to the show by a colleague.  What I laugh I had seeing him bouncing along the car park in his work uniform!  One day, I'll get my Zephyr back on the road to join in the fun but for now my Dolomite Sprint will have to do!”

The show is now FULL with 80 amazing Classic Cars including a tank recovery vehicle, a trans am and a hotrod Morris Minor.
