There was a second accident at the same scene as a crash last week on the A78 in Seamill after a 13 tonne lorry hit a skip.
We reported last week that a 70 year old Largs man was involved in a car accident near the Seamill Hydro when an Octavia car clipped a skip at the side of the side of the road, and the vehicle was badly damaged.
However, the Largs driver managed to exit the car without any injuries.
And again last Friday at 9.15am, a vehicle struck the same skip before coming to a halt on the A78 Ardrossan Road.
Police stated that low lying sunshine was to blame, and it was entirely co-incidental that the skip was struck again.
The Polish national driver managed to escape uninjured, although an uplift had to be arranged for the lorry which had damage to the front of the cab.
