Gritters out to treat roads during winter chill
Snow and freezing temperatures are forecast. As a precaution gritters will patrol and treat priority 1 routes overnight in North Ayrshire.
In addition to Thursday evening's actions, Priority 2 carriageways and Priority 1 & 2 footways will be treated on Friday morning, say NAC. Full details of the gritting operation is here
Cameras are located on the A760, as part of the roadside weather station. Live images are updated every 15 minutes here
