There is plenty of live entertainment on offer at The George in Largs, and it has already been a busy start to 2017.

The Main Street bar and diner is fresh from hosting a recent Burns Supper including members of Largs Players.

Also performing were noted Burns speaker Angus Middleton with music provided by William Menzies, and a great time was had by all as 'Tam O'Shanter' and 'Willy Wastle' put on a show to celebrate Rabbie. The event was a fundraiser for Gillian's Saltire Appeal with director Les Ward enjoying the fun.

Themed evenings also take place with an Indian buffet event on Saturday 11 March between 7-9pm in the upstairs restaurant, followed by live music downstairs provided by JimAllyWhy from 9pm till late.

And The George is hosting a psychic evening on Thursday 23 March provided by The Alternative Experience, providing an interesting second sight, with private readings available. For more details, go to secondsightscotland.co.uk, starting at 7.30pm prompt.
