P2/1 are looking forward to beginning our Pirates topic. P1 are learning all about o’clock times on both dialogue and digital clocks.
P2 shall be developing their mental calculation skills. We shall be practising our independent writing skills and our spelling.
P4/3 have continued with our Rainforest topic. We looked at the four layers of the Rainforest and created a flap book detailing theanimals and plants that you will find in each layer. We also used books and the internet to find out other information.
P6/5 researched the Stone of Destiny as part of our Scottish Wars of Independence topic. In Science we are investigating Pollution and the impact it has on Earth’s Natural Resources. For writing, we created a Biography about Charles Rennie MacKintosh.
P7 hosted a successful Scottish Afternoon and will be competing in the final of an Athletics competition in March! We have started our new secret topic which requires us to become film experts! We have also started Zumba dancing in P.E.
