We may be moving our clocks forward on Sunday, but it always good to have a nostalgic look back!
In this week's archive feature, we turn back the clock to the 1970s in Largs.
An early picture of a young Sam Torrance taking pupils on a golfing masterclass at the relatively new Largs Academy is among the photos from around 40 years ago, taken by Grahame Ross.
Other pictures include an old picture of Largs Town Centre, and you can see that not much has changed in terms of how busy it is!
There is also a picture of the Queen Mary at Largs Pier with the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry plus Waverley in the background. and the Clark Memorial Young Wives group.
