Largs Badminton Club is one of the longest running sporting groups at Inverclyde Sports Centre.
The club started off at Inverclyde away back in 1958 after the centre was opened by the Queen, and during recent years, numbers have swelled and the season has been extended beyond the end of March.
It is good to see after the centre was closed for over four months during the recent restoration and upgrading of the sports centre. Indeed, the badminton club seems to be busier than ever, with players from across the district including Largs, Fairlie and West Kilbride.
And there is plenty of opportunity to get involved as the club meets on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm till 9.30pm at the main gym hall.
Traditionally, there has been festive and end of year tournaments with singles and doubles events.
And the new all inclusive Inverclyde Sports Centre for all abilities is ready to open its doors in the coming weeks.
