Friday 31st March will be our final evening before the Easter holidays when your Easter Eggs will be given out. On the same evening our 13 Senior boys will be travelling with Captain Lamont in the minibus to Dumfries House for their final weekend Queen's Badge course. Thank You to all staff and boys who attended the Battalion Parade & Church Service in Kilbirnie on Sunday 19th also to all members of our Pipe Band who led the Parade, we managed to stay dry until almost the end of the parade when the rain fell heavily. Every member of staff was on Parade this year, pity most of the senior boys weren't, excellent turnout from Junior Section & S1-S3. The last round of the Battalion Ten Pin Bowling Leagues were played in Saltcoats on 18th with in the Under 14's Jamie Paton winning Silver and the team finished in 3rd place with bronze medals going to Jamie Paton, Callum Robinson and Connor Stewart. In the Under 19's League Jonathan Welsh won Silver and this team finished in 2nd place with silver medals going to Jonathan Welsh, Calum Paton and Andrew Burns, in the Gent's League Captain Lamont finished in 3rd place and in the Ladies League Mrs Lamont once again won the Gold Medal and trophy, well done to all who took part whether you won a medal or not we make a good team and had fun. On Friday 17th our First Aid young team took part in the Battalion competition with Sam Templeton, Daniel Baxter, Joshua Gregory and Cameron Rae finishing in 4th place, with thanks to Jim Welsh for teaching the team this year. Our weekly football & badminton training have now finished for the session and thank you to all who attended.
