St Marys Class Chat as follows: P1-4 have been practicing all week for their medieval banquet which will be taking place this afternoon as part of their knights and castles topic. Ribbon dancing, jousting, plate spinning and being a jester is just some of the fun things the children have been doing.

P5 - have enjoyed starting their new health and well-being topic investigating ways to improve their health and fitness. They have learned that they should be doing at least an hour a day of exercise to keep themselves fit and healthy. They have also been investigating how friendships can run into trouble and how they deal with this.

P6 - PC Ross visited class this week to reinforce learning on our substance measure topic. We learned about the criminality behind it as well as how important making the right choice is, as well as saying no!

P7 - Enjoyed taking part in French. Transition activities with virgine and demonstrating their knowledge of the French language. They also had a great time learning 'real' rugby outdoors and are looking forward to next weeks session. They continue their critical skills challenge of creating presentations based on their world of work placements.

The Science of Change project was presented by P5-P7. Primary 5-7 had the opportunity to showcase what they have been learning during STEM week. Parents and carers had hands on tuition and got to carry out their own chemical reactions.

As our new school campus grows, St Mary's will be setting up a Facebook memories page. If anyone who has had connections with St Mary's over the years has pictures or stories, please feel free to post them to the page.
