Ben the budgie has gone missing before, and was last found at Largs Library
The owner of a missing budgie has appealed for the people of Largs to help in its safe return.
The yellow bird flew out of Roger McGlaulin's window in Nelson Street, Largs, on Friday morning.
Roger said: "It can cope for a short period time out in the wild, and he has escaped before. The last time he was found on the roof of the library.
"I just opened the window a little bit and he managed to find a way out. He has a little bit of black on his head and all yellow at the bottom."
