Largs mum Tanya Low is getting on her bike for Down's Syndrome Scotland, and will cycle 175 miles this weekend in a special fundraiser.
The "Ride the North" event covers from Castle Fraser in Aberdeenshire to Elgin and back, and she is being inspired in her challenge by daughter Tarran, who was born with Down's syndrome, and is now 21 years of age.
Tanya said: "The charity were a huge support both in those first few months and have continued to be at every stage throughout the last 21 years.
" I cannot begin to tell you how helpful and supportive they have been. I would like to give something back by fundraising as much as I can so that they can continue to do the amazing work that they do to help people."
Tanya is taking part with a team of six ladies including Annie Weir from Skelmorlie and Lorna McGilp from Inverkip. Other cyclists are taking part from Kilmacolm and Broughty Ferry.
And Tayna hosted a prosecco afternoon tea and fashion show with the shop Sister Secrets in Gourock on Sunday, with Tarran giving a speech at the event.
Tanya said: "I have been trying to train as much as possible, including some training in Spain where the conditions are great for cycling. I have really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to this weekend's challenge.
"And Tarran is a gorgeous funny caring independent young lady who is an inspiration to everyone that knows her."
