Firefighters were involving in rescuing birds from a aviary in a garden blaze on Monday morning at Skelmorlie.
A spokesman for Scottish Fire and Rescue said: “We were alerted at 7.03am on September 18 to reports of a fire within a domestic garden near the A78, Skelmorlie to Greenock.
“One appliance was immediately mobilised to the scene and on arrival crews found a large bird aviary well alight.
“Firefighters extinguished the flames using a high powered hose. Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
