The Screen Machine mobile cinema is returning to Millport on 24 and 25 October showing the movies Cars 3, IT, Moon Dogs, and Victoria and Abdul.
The much-anticipated film adaptation of Stephen King’s mammoth horror classic IT takes place in smalltown America... the local kids are disappearing one by one, leaving behind bloody remains. In a place known as The Barrens, a group of seven bullied kids – the self-named Losers Club – are united by their horrifying and strange encounters with an evil clown and their determination to kill It.
With influences of Stand By Me, this is a great ensemble piece of likeable kids hanging our together. But it is also blood-curdlingly scary.
A spokesman for the mobile cinema said:L "Screen Machine does not bring you horror very often, but when we do, we aim to terrify."
