Letters to the Editor
On Saturday August 18 on boarding the train home I slipped in the gap between platform and carriage.
At Crosshouse Hospital, it was diagnosed as a badly damaged knee and fractured femur. The period from 19 August until my release on 4 October, the medical, nursing and auxiliary staff were superb, as was the food.
I am still in plaster and have attended two fracture clinics, and the ambulance service were excellent.
