The Memory Cafe at Brooksby Health Centre would like to thank all the shops and companies who have donated gifts for their Christmas raffle.
The cafe runs on a monthly basis, on the first Wednesday of every month, and is starting again on Wednesday 7 February.
Catherine Lonergan, Nursing assistant for the community health team, said that cafe is for anyone with a memory loss problem, and acted as a support group for carers too with advice on hand.
They would like to thank the following: The Candy Box and continental shop, Room/ Lounge, Geraldo’s, Tesco’s, Morrison’s, Halliday’s the chemist, Wrights Hardware store, Bluestone, Largo, Co-op, Nardini’s –Nelson Street, Blue Lagoon, The Fish Works, The Bagel Basket, Spectrum Window and door maintenance, Boots, Poundland, the staff and children at Largs Primary School -Brisbane Campus for their Choir, Greggs and Aulds for support all year round by donating cakes on a monthly basis.
